Campaigner Bookshelf Restyled

October 7, 2011

I’m soooo close to finishing my new office space and can’t wait to show you.  Today I’ll give you a little sneak peek.

Remember my campaigner shelves?  Well there in the new space and are tweaked just a bit.

I love turning on the lighting on the bookcase at night and the wicker basket brings a bit of coziness and warmth to the shelves.  Another tip hang a mirror or piece of artwork in the front of the bookcase.  This happens to be a framed feather from one of my family’s trips.

Notice the red?  I’ll show you the final photos soon!!

It’s a super busy day today, I’m off to get ready for the INDIEana Handicraft Exchange show(wish me luck)!  If you live in Indy you should totally go check it out!!  (It’s tonight from 5-10 at the Harrison Center for the Arts near Mass Avenue, downtown Indianapolis).  I promise to take lots of photos and give you the recap next week!

Have a great weekend!

    1. Hi Sally, all you need to do is lightly sand it but if you don’t mind the scratches showing up (meaning the indentation) a bit I would just prime the piece with Kilz and then paint with the color of your choice. Hope this helps
