Happy One Month Cooper & A Look at the Nursery!!

November 16, 2012

I seriously cannot believe Cooper is already a month old!  We’ve been having so much fun with him and I find myself pinching myself everyday because I cannot believe he is really here.  He really is a good baby and I’m slowly figuring out how to keep him happy and content.  I tell most people as long as he gets exactly what he needs he is wonderful of course watch out if he’s not getting what he needs!

I decided like most parents to take a photo of him every month for the next year so I can look back and see how fast he’s grown.  I’m going to take the photo in his chair in the nursery with him wearing a white onesie each time.  Here is this months!

One Month Old Cooper

I’ve also been getting a lot of emails asking about the nursery.  I still haven’t had the chance to take all the photos I need to and there is one more project I am working on but I’ll go ahead and show you a few photos today that will give you a good idea of what the room looks like.  At the moment the room is really just for looks and storing diapers and clothes because apparently my chest is waaaaayyyy more comfortable then a crib!

I promise I’ll get a longer post up soon with the resources and the projects that were done.

Here is the chair I took Cooper’s one month photo in and the chair I spent 2 weeks of my life in after I brought him home.  Then there is the crib that’s still waiting to be used!

The chair is my grandma’s and I don’t remember a holiday where I didn’t sit in it when I was a little girl.  It was one of the few things I had to have when she passed away.  I also put this chair in my daughter’s room when she was a little girl.

The frog is my husband’s and on the belly of there is stitching that says Andy.  My husband’s name is Andrew and I always know when people have met him because pre-Marines everyone calls him Andy, post-Marines and currently it’s Drew.  To me he is Drew (or D) and I always get a kick when people call him Andy so this frog definitely makes me smile!

Here’s the dresser I refinished and the changing pad that I thought would never be completed!!

I promise I’ll list where everything was purchased in the longer nursery post but in the meantime if you have any questions please feel free to comment or email me!

Have a great weekend!!

**You might notice the blog looking a little different, bare with me, there’s some changes happening so it’s looking a bit strange these days!  Just another project I decided to take on at the worst possible time!
