My Cool Granny K!

March 27, 2013

Yesterday I wrote about my mother-in-law Kris’s beautiful new home and my amazement of how quickly it’s coming together in such a short period of time. (I mean I’m not even sure if it’s been a month yet!)

I’ve also written about my Granny K (Kris’s mother) who lives with her daughter and how she’s one of the reasons why I love interior design and decorating as much as I do.  I showed off her small bedroom awhile back and her ability to transform a space and break the decorating rules and have the space look incredible!

Well she’s done it again and let me just say this lady is the queen of the vignette.  I love a good vignette.  Don’t believe me check out my Pinterest board of vignettes!

Here’s a few photos of the bathroom that she’s been working on.  Oh and if I didn’t already think she’s cool she mentioned to me while we were chatting that she found a great site called Joss & Main!  Let me just say she’s a great grandmother to 6!  It’s ok you can me jealous of me for having her as a grandma, I get it!

I love the chandelier in the shower area.  She originally wanted a real one but there’s that whole water and electricity not mixing well together so this wall decal with rhinestones is the perfect solution!

I love how she mixes french, country, industrial styles and makes it work!

I love this wired shelf and how no detail goes unnoticed.  Umm hello a ribbon on the toilet paper people!

I love how she uses the numeral motif throughout the bathroom.  I also like how she uses hooks instead of a towel bar.  There is nothing I dislike about this photo!

I cannot wait to visit my mother-in-law and Granny K again and see how the house has progressed!

    1. Hello this is kinda of off topic but I was wanting to know if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if
you have to manually code with HTML. I’m starting a blog
soon but have no coding skills so I wanted to get
advice from someone with experience. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    1. Why viewers still make use of to read news papers when in this technological world the whole thing is presented on net?
