There’s not much happening with projects this week because of Easter and also this Saturday my sweet baby boy is getting baptized. I thought it would be a good time to get some heavy duty spring cleaning done before friends and family stop over to celebrate our special day with Cooper. In the midst of the cleaning I’ve realized how much stuff I’ve accumulated and I think I’m going to put together a little garage sale in the near future.
I can’t believe I’m saying this but I’ve never had a garage sale before. Most of the time I donate my items but like I said there’s a lot of stuff so I think it might be easier to do a sale first and then donate what doesn’t sell. Have you ever had a garage sale before? Mandi from Vintage Revivals has some great tips!
Besides cleaning I also need to plan Cooper’s party. Of course at first I had elaborate plans and a pretty theme in mind but now the plans have turned to pretty, simple and easy. I’m thinking italian.
To come up with some ideas I headed to pinterest for some inspiration.
I’m thinking Italian will be easy to pull together and it also means I can use items I already own (plus buy a few items I need anyways) to entertain with and because it’s not specific to the baptism they are items I can use again. I promise to post photos of how things turn out!
