One Room Challenge (Week 2)

One Room Challenge (Week 2)

It’s week 2 and I’m moving along at a snails pace if I’m going to be honest with you all.  A part of me does the One Room Challenge because I know I have to finish a project in 6 weeks and the other part of me takes on an easy project that could be done in a weekend yet I find a way to drag it out for 6 weeks!

Last week I showed off the before pics and a design board with the direction I’m going.  As usual I switched up a few pieces like I tend to do.

I ended up scraping the idea for the woven piece.  I love them but I don’t know if I totally love them for me and I’m trying super hard to either work with things I already own during this makeover or to purchase items that I would want to use in our next  house.

I think I have purchased everything I need at this point and now I just have to finish painting the bathroom and finish spraying the existing hardware.

To be honest I’m hoping to be done with the majority of the bathroom next week. (I’m not going to post the final pics to week 6 though, sorry!!)  In the coming weeks I’ll be sharing some DIYs for the bathroom and I’ll talk about how to spruce up a builders grade bathroom without spending alot of money.

Make sure you head on over to Calling It Home and check out the other linking participants (228 of them) and the designers from Wednesday too!
