Christmas Front Door

Christmas Front Door

Good-bye my beautiful ferns!  You were so good to me this year!  Seriously I can’t get over how big they got!

christmas front doorThis week I swapped out my ferns for some pretty Christmas decorations that basically cost me $3.00 because go figure I used what I had and also swiped some free evergreen from our neighborhood!  I spent the $3.00 on the twig balls, they were from Michaels and I bought them the Friday after Thanksgiving for 80% off!  So basically major steal!

Speaking of stealing, I totally stole the idea too!  (I can’t tell you guys enough keep an eye on your surroundings so many good ideas out there!) One of my favorite stores in Indianapolis is Allisonville Nursery.  I took a photo of their front entrance to replicate because I knew I had everything I needed already!

A breakdown of what you need.

  1. Outdoor Urn  –  I can’t say enough good things about the ones I bought, they are heavy molded plastic.  They look real but are still substantial but I can still pick them up if I need to.
  2. Evergreen
  3. Red berries
  4. Twig ball
  5. Logs
  6. White Lights

Christmas Front Door

The doormat is from Target.  The wreath was $6.88 at Home Depot and I just bought a branch of sparkly berries from Michaels tore it apart and put it around the wreath.

Hope you enjoy my budget friendly Christmas front door and I hope it inspires you to look around at your surroundings for ideas and to use what you already have!

Have a great weekend!!
