Favorite Binge Watching Show at the Moment

Life In Pieces

This show is on CBS and they just released the first season (22 episodes) on netflix. The series is about the lives of three generations as they go about their daily lives in California. It is told from the point of view of each character based on their own version of events. Each episode is told as four short stories, one for each branch of the Short family.

The show is only 30 minutes and it’s been my go to watch while I’m getting ready in the morning. It’s a no-brainer funny show.  I’m always in for some mindless t.v and this one has been great!

Favorite Ebay Purchase

As I mentioned on my Instagram I was getting back to the basics when it comes to decorating the house.

I purchased this piece of flow blue china off eBay for $7.50!  Prices for flow blue are all over the place and are rising because of blue and white being so popular right now. Some pieces sell for hundreds. I used to have about 40 pieces of flow blue back in early 2000 but got rid of all of it at an auction. I don’t regret getting rid of them because I wasn’t into them anymore. It’s funny how I love them again!

Favorite Makeup Product

Covergirl Simply Ageless Foundation

This product is the best! As I mentioned before I have rosacea and due to that this is the only product I’ve been able to find to cover up the redness and it not look like it’s been caked on.  I’ve also not been able to find a separate sunscreen that doesn’t make my face break out so this is a double win!  I’m in my 40s and obviously have lines and wrinkles and the product does not cake up. It’s without a doubt my current favorite makeup product!

Obviously it’s got to be Calling It Home because the One Room Challenge kicked off this week. I’m extra excited to see some of the new designers work this time around like Old Home Love, Erica Reitman and also House of Brinson.

Speaking of Old Home Love…have you bought their book Old Home Love’s yet?  It’s really really good! It’s been on my makeshift nightstand for weeks!

We’re headed to California this weekend with no real plan but to see what new places we can discover!! Have a great weekend!
