Thanksgiving Table

I just wanted to pop in and show you the table I decorated for Thanksgiving this year.  We actually don’t host Thanksgiving on Thursday but we do host dinner on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. We ate Mexican, we drank strong margaritas, I got my hair cut and colored.  I didn't worry about anyone needing to be anywhere or making sure to get home in time to put the baby down for a nap…

Shrimp Boil with Friends

I have always wanted to host a shrimp boil and this summer I had an opportunity to do it.  It was super casual and when I came across Edie's post (Shrimp Boil at the Lake) I realized it would be really easy and cheap (winning!) I didn't really fray from the recipe except I served the meal with homemade garlic bread and instead of homemade cocktail sauce I used store bought.  The homemade garlic mayo is to die for so…
