Another Great Find!

I went to Midland Antiques this weekend and picked up these cool chairs and only paid $50.00 for both of them! I know...I rock...right! Stay tuned I've got big plans for these babies!! Oh and an update on my hard drive, it died and has been replaced and I lost alot of files ( I know, I know, I'm an idiot!) I'm trying to convince myself that it's a fresh start, I'll let you know if that works out for…

Let’s Get This Foyer Started

Here is a photo of our foyer. It's small but it's the first time I've ever had one, all the (many) other houses I've lived in never had one, you walked into the house and BAM you were in the living room. I've started playing around with the foyer yesterday and came up with an initial sketch (very rough draft). Which leads me to ask, do you have a piece of furniture that needs to be refinished but you don't have the time? (I can help!) Having a hard time finding just the right table, dresser or side table? (I can help!) Soon…

Before and After (Screen)

This was one sad and ugly screen! At first glance I wasn't even sure if it was worth the $10.00 it cost. (This is the photo taken after the wallpaper was stripped off.) I primed the entire thing with Kilz (love that stuff) and spray painted the back of the screen and the frame of the front black. I also painted the hinges and screws that hold the screen together black. Then came the fun part, the fabric. The fabric…
