Thanksgiving Table

I just wanted to pop in and show you the table I decorated for Thanksgiving this year.  We actually don’t host Thanksgiving on Thursday but we do host dinner on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. This year I’m making buttermilk fried chicken (seriously the best recipe), baked brussel sprouts, homemade mac n cheese, mashed potatoes and most important a fun holiday cocktail!  #foodcoma I spent a total of $4.00 on the table this year.  I ended up scoring the green spotted…

My Thanksgiving Table

This is the first year in a very long time that I have not hosted Thanksgiving.  In reality I didn't need to set the Thanksgiving table but decided to do it anyways but just for the 4 of us.  I've also decided to do a pre-Thanksgiving dinner just the 4 of us (seriously I'll find any excuse for green bean casserole and pumpkin pie!) The side buffet is pretty sparse... it's because it will be filled with desserts which face it is way more important then pretty design! I used a black tablecloth that we already owned, the black and natural bamboo placemats were from Meijer…

Happy Thanksgiving

I finally finished the table today and I'm thinking maybe I'm only going to have to make one more trip to the grocery store. This is my "good" china from Williams Sonoma Home and sadly I really do only use this for Thanksgiving and I also always end up using fall colors in my design scheme since my china is brown and off white. This is the buffet, I didn't do too much, just some gourds. I cut the top…
